Our studio brings together a diverse range of material experiences, from lampworking and kiln-formed glass to metalwork jewellery, ceramics and other forms of making.
It is a welcoming space for beginners and experienced artists alike: somewhere to explore techniques, develop confidence and connect with a lively community of makers.
What we believe
Creativity begins with contact
A material has its own behaviour, limitations and possibilities. We learn by meeting it directly—through heat, pressure, rhythm, colour and patient attention.
Founder
Binghui Song
Binghui Song is a London-based artist whose practice spans glass, metal, ceramics and painting. Her work explores the vitality of materials and the physicality of making through organic, sculptural forms.
She holds an MA from the Royal College of Art, a BA from Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, and has studied goldsmithing at Tokyo University of the Arts.
As founder and sole director of Song Jewellery Limited, Binghui established SONG Art & Craft as an experiential extension of that material-led practice—an open studio where people can make, experiment and create their own unique work.
